La brontophobie, ou la peur excessive du tonnerre et de l\u2019orage<\/strong>, peut \u00eatre prise comme anodine, et pourtant elle peut entra\u00eener de grandes souffrances pour les personnes qui en sont victimes. Aussi, pour pouvoir comprendre cette phobie et les personnes qui en souffrent, nous allons nous y pencher et voir en premier lieu ses manifestations.<\/p>\n Comment se manifeste la brontophobie ?<\/strong><\/p>\n Par temps d\u2019orage, beaucoup d\u2019entre nous sursautent \u00ab un peu \u00bb au fort grondement du tonnerre, mais cela en \u00ab reste l\u00e0 \u00bb. Par contre, pour les personnes victimes de brontophobie, la peur est incontr\u00f4lable<\/strong>, elles se sentent grandement menac\u00e9es et ce, \u00e0 la fois psychologiquement et physiquement par le tonnerre. \nEt comme pour la manifestation des autres phobies, au \u00ab moindre \u00bb orage, le brontophobique aura de grosses sueurs, tremblera de tout son corps, et aura la sensation de s\u2019\u00e9touffer, de manquer d\u2019air. Quand la crise de panique est trop intense, il en arrive m\u00eame que la personne s\u2019\u00e9vanouisse. C\u2019est ainsi que pour \u00ab se prot\u00e9ger du tonnerre \u00bb, non seulement la personne fermera par exemple tous les volets de sa maison, mais ira en plus se r\u00e9fugier dans une pi\u00e8ce o\u00f9 il n\u2019y a pas de fen\u00eatre (par exemple les toilettes), l\u00e0 o\u00f9 elle entendra le moins possible le grondement du tonnerre qu\u2019il craint tant. La phobie devient ainsi un r\u00e9el handicap puisqu\u2019il est hors de question de sortir par temps d\u2019orage, m\u00eame pour aller travailler.<\/p>\n

\nPour cela, l\u2019une des approches les plus ad\u00e9quates pour vaincre la brontophobie, c\u2019est la th\u00e9rapie cognitive et comportementale. Les causes profondes de la phobie sont analys\u00e9es, les fausses craintes sont enlev\u00e9es, et le patient est accompagn\u00e9 dans l\u2019affrontement progressif de sa peur.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
